what's up with me...

I've been so behind on blogging lately.  You can imagine why!  I've been consumed with trying to get my  home in order for Molly's arrival (you know since the flood of 2010 and the bathroom remodel on a whim!)that I just haven't taken the time to sit down and update here.  Things are progressing nicely and I hope to post some great before and after pictures by the end of the week!

We are on Spring Break this week, my saving grace!!  In the midst of my bathroom projects and flooring repairs; I've also added painting and organizing the garage, getting the nursery ready, and doing some spring landscaping to my list.  It's a lot to do in one week!  But I actually think I'll be close to finished by the end of the week.

In the midst of getting LOA/RA I forgot to give props to my wonderful friend, Danielle who designed my new blog with Molly's picture in the header.  I just love it!  She always knows exactly what to do for me.  So if you need a blog makeover or other design needs you should give her a holla! She's the best!  Thank you, Danielle!!

Ok, finally last, but not least I have some updated pictures for you to enjoy!  About a week after my referral I got updated information on Molly with these 3 pictures.  I think they are so funny!
Look at the hair, the facial expressions, and the cheeks!  Oh my goodness, I can tell that I am going to have my hands full with this one!  I've got much more to share, but I'll save it all for another post.  I'm still waiting for TA (travel approval) and shortly after that I will know my exact travel dates.  My tentative dates are April 15-30, but they are not official yet.

So fun! Lovin' the hair! Will your agency send you even during the trade fair? Mine will, too...but I am nervous about the money. Maybe you and I will end up in CHina together afterall!

Is it possible that she got even cuter?! And is it just me or did that actually happen? Look at that FACE. I just want to squeeze her. Gently, of course.

Oh my gosh, Amy. She is the cutest little thing! Loving the hair, too. Hehe. So cute.

I am so glad you love the new design. Cannot wait to update with pics of you and Molly together!

As you know, I have done blogs for dozens of adopting parents, but this is hands down the most exciting situation for me. Being friends {in real life, and not just the blog world} and getting to see my friend bring her daughter home is just the best feeling ever. I cannot tell you how happy I am. And I am just a little excited that I may get to guest blog for you! :)

I don't know that I have ever been happier for anyone. You are the most amazing person. You are SO beautiful inside and out, and while you are so lucky to have such a precious daughter, Molly is one lucky little girl.

Sorry this was so long. I am so so happy for you!!!!!

Love,

Danielle

PS. I am officially inviting myself to come back to Nashville to visit you again once you're ready for me. I know it isn't classy to invite yourself someplace, but I am going to need to meet this little cutie.

And you are both welcome to visit Chicago any time! Thinking it'll be a while, but it would be so much fun.

Now I'm done. Haha.

One thing that I love about your blog - shared with my daughter - is the breakdown you have across the top detailing fees, etc. They are praying about adopting and this payment schedule is really helpful.

Your pumpkin looks so different int he new pictures! My first thought in picture number two -'thug baby!' What an expression! I know you just cannot wait. Congratulations!
