Our church hosts a Chili Cook off and Costume Contest for Kids each year and it's always a fun gathering.
Each adult Sunday School class decorates a table and provides candy for the kids.
The kids come through and get candy and then parade around the gym for the costume "judging". Of course Molly was a dinosaur this year! She loves them! And insisted on a "real, scary" dino costume and not a juvenile/cartoony one!
We went downtown to a special symphony Halloween program and the kids could wear costumes. We decided to parade around the streets of downtown Nashville and take some pics! It was so hilarious!!!
Before the concert, the symphony always has a "petting zoo" and the kids can try the instruments. Molly always likes to try the violin.
And we saw our sweet friends from church!
So, here's a few takes of a dino on the loose in Nashville! Because it was just about 11:00 a.m., the streets weren't that crowded. Tourists were just beginning to get out and as they'd pass, they would take a second look. How funny to see a dino in downtown Nashville and even funnier that inside that costume is a pretty 7 year old GIRL! HA!
So Nashville...with the honky tonk sign behind her!
Don't forget Elvis!
A dinosaur on the pedestrian bridge!
This girl is such a mess! She makes everyday a new and exciting adventure!
