Hollywood Studios

ok, so i'm finally wrapping up all of my disney posts
i just wanted to right about as much as i could remember so i could always look back and see how much we crammed into 5 days!

our final day was spent in hollywood studios
we did not have a lot of time here, but got to see the two things that were at the top of our lists:
both of these were fantastic!

we left after lunch and went back to the hotel to load the magical express to the airport
at the airport molly was just as excited to see these statues and pose with them!
ha!

and as we walked through the food court she let out a scream when she saw they had krispie kreme doughnuts!
seriously the child was as excited to see krispie kreme as she was to go to the magic kingdom 3 days in a row!
i could have saved my money and just taken her to get some doughnuts for her birthday...such is the mind of a 4 year old

but seriously, she did love the trip and by the end of the week she was ready to stay much longer
i wish we had the time to add a few days

but, i'm already looking ahead to see when we might can go again
she said she wanted to come again next year when she turns 5!
i'm not sure about that, but maybe!!

Epcot, Thursday

by thursday morning, we were so tired!
she fell asleep holding onto her new pluto dog and never let him go all night!
so cute!

we did have to wake early to go to our breakfast reservations at akershus
this character dining was really good, not quite as loud and hectic as tusker house
it is part buffet and part table service
the food was really good!

and she once again got a birthday cupcake!
i'm telling you, going on a birthday week is a great time to get some "extras"!
after breakfast we were free to enjoy the park at our own leisure
since we were in norway for breakfast, we went ahead and rode the maelstrom which is a viking ship boat ride
we were right beside mexico, so we quickly got on the gran fiesta tour with the three cabelleros
this was another gentle but fun boat ride

then we ran into chip & dale

so adorable!

these were probably our favorite two things at the park!  she really loved them!

we went to all of the other pavilions and most of the attractions she was tall enough for
she really loved it

after the pavilions, we went through the world showcase

we saw pooh and tigger in the united kingdom

i love all of the architecture in the united kingdom
it is so quaint!

 the landscaping was gorgeous!

unfortunately, we just missed belle and the beast who were at france
the beast was one thing on her "list" to see that we never got to see on this trip
but in morocco, we did see jasmine and Aladdin
interestingly enough, there were a lot more dads in line to meet jasmine
they must really like that movie! ha!

that night we had dinner reservations in mexico
we were so tired, but the food was great
we actually left before the nighttime fireworks because we just didn't have the energy to wait and then fight through the crowds!

on another trip, i would split epcot into 2 days
molly did really good, but it was a long day :)

Magic Kingdom, Day 3 and Cinderella's Royal Table

so, for our third day of disney fun we slept in at the hotel and enjoyed a late morning swim
this was molly's actual birthday, so i basically let her choose what she wanted to do
swimming was at the top of her list!

our resort had 2 nice pools and we had a lot of fun playing around and not getting out early!

after our swim, we got ready and headed to the Magic Kingdom!
we stopped in the first building to get pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse

next, we were off to fantasyland

at fantasyland, we rode all of the rides
molly's favorite ride was/is dumbo
and we rode it many times during this week!
i loved taking a boat ride on it's a small world
(reminded me of my trips as a child)

other favorite rides in fantasyland are:

one ride she did not like was Goofy's Barnstormer

after an afternoon of rides and fun, we had birthday dinner reservations to eat with cinderella!
so we headed to the castle and were served {like royalty}
again, amazed at the beauty of all the princesses!
we loved seeing belle in her "peasant dress"

ariel, taking a count of how old molly was!
 molly's birthday desert
make your own sundae and a cupcake!
these pics are out of focus, but i wanted to capture the beauty inside the castle!
we could see right outside to fantasyland:)

and now, she's a 4 year old!!!

after dinner we headed over to tomorrowland for:
and the People Mover
she loved both of those, but of course her favorite place was fantasyland!

they are in the process of a huge expansion for fantasyland and i can't wait to go back and check it all out!!
